DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY POLICY

The controller of this website is the CPOEF, Kardeljeva ploščad 17, 1000 Ljubljana. Here, you can find information about which personal data is being collected through this website, on what basis, for what purpose and what your rights are related to this. In order to assure as much accuracy and timeliness as possible, we occasionally update this content.
Contact: we collect your name, e-mail and other personal data, trusted to us by you, through contact forms. We only process them to provide an answer to your message. We do not process the data for any other purpose. We do not share it with anyone, except for the contractors who are responsible for the operation of the website.
Subscription to news and notifications: we collect your name, surname and e-mail address. We process them with the intention of sending you notifications about current news, events and our educational programmes (direct marketing) via e-mail. The basis for processing is your consent given to us through this website. We do not process the data for any other purpose and do not share it with anyone, except for the contractors who are responsible for the operation of the website and for the software support of our business operations. They are stored and processed on servers within the EEC, for as long as the purpose is indicated, until the cancellation of consent or until you unsubscribe. The recipient is provided with the option to unsubscribe in every e-mail.
Applications for educational programmes: we also collect applications for the FELU MBA, Business Academies, seminars and conferences through various forms on this website. We only process the data that is trusted to us by you and that is needed for the implementation of the educational programme – that is, on a contractual basis. We do not process the data for any other purpose and do not share it with anyone, except for the contractors who are responsible for the operation of the website and for software support. We store it for a further 5 years after the completion of the contract.
FELU MBA Brochure: If you download the FELU MBA brochure, you trust us with your name, surname and email address. We collect this information so that our project managers can contact you about the FELU MBA. We estimate that we have a legitimate interest in this and that we do not interfere excessively with your rights to privacy. We do not process data for any other purpose and do not share it with anyone except for the contractors who are responsible for the operation of the website and for software support. It is stored and processed on servers within the EEC for as long as the purpose is indicated, or until you unsubscribe from receiving information.
Automatic collection: for the purpose of operating and analysing the operation of this website, we collect some information automatically, including personal data among other things. We estimate that we have a legitimate interest in this and that we do not interfere excessively with your rights to privacy. This includes language settings, IP address, location, device settings, device operating system, login information, usage time, required URL address, status report, the user’s tool (browser version data), operating system, results (visitor or guest), search history, ID of reservation and the type of data you see. This information is also used in investigations and the detection of fraud. This personal data can also be used to assess risks and for security purposes, including for verifying users. For this purpose, we may also share personal information with third parties, e.g. with law enforcement authorities, as required by the applicable law, and with external consultants. We do not share data with anyone, except for the contractors who are responsible for the operation of the website. We also collect some of the information for advertising purposes (Google remarketing and Facebook pixel).
We do not collect any other personal information through this website.
In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of the data obtained, to maintain the accuracy of personal data and to ensure its proper use, we use appropriate technical and organisational procedures to secure the data we collect. However, we can not exclude any data misuse, as the Internet, despite security measures and security communication protocols, is an unpredictable medium. In connection with the operation of the website and the services provided by it, the CPOEF cooperates with service providers that provide roaming services within the European Economic Area. Should this ever change and exports to countries outside the European Economic Area (“third countries”) occur, where the applicable laws do not offer the same level of data protection, the CPOEF will take the necessary measures to ensure that the data is safe.
You are entitled at any moment to request the correction of your personal information, the permanent deletion of your personal data, export and examination of the personal information that we keep about you, or you may object to the processing, or request an unobstructed and direct transfer of data to another controller, in writing, at the e-mail address cpoef@ef.uni-lj.si.
At any time, you can also enforce the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia if you believe that there has been a violation of your rights. If we find that there has been a serious violation of your personal information, we will inform you, as well as the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, if necessary.
