Marko Grobelnik

Marko Grobelnik is a Chief Technical Officer at IRCAI – International Research Center on Artificial Intelligence under auspices of UNESCO and a deputy head of Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence at the Jozef Stefan Institute, the national research institute in Slovenia. He collaborates with major European and Global academic institutions and consults for industries such as British Telecom, Microsoft Research, Nature, New York Times, Bloomberg and Accenture and is being actively involved as an expert for AI with international organization including UNESCO, OECD, EU and Council of Europe. Marko is the author of several books and author of many scientific papers. Marko is the Slovenian National representative for digitalization, CEO of the company Quintelligence, member of the management boards of Knowledge4All Foundation and AI4Good Foundation. Marko served as a program chair for the various international conferences including the Web Conference, European Machine Learning conference, European Semantic Web Conference. He has been involved in more than 30 international research projects as project coordinator, technical coordinator and lead research scientist.
