Phoenix 4.0 “Train the Trainers” kicks off with great engagement

We’re delighted to report that the first public event of the EU-funded PHOENIX 4.0 project, “Train the Trainers” session, led by CBE, exceeded all expectations! Nearly 70 participants came together to launch this pivotal phase, with over 50 expert trainers now on board to empower 130 tourism SMEs across Europe. Their mission is to boost resilience, accelerate digital transformation, and foster sustainable practices.

During the “Train the Trainers” session, trainers got a chance to learn about the project, key topics and meet the colleagues for the future collaboration and networking.

Over the coming months, Phoenix 4.0 trainers will present their practice-based expertise on six core topics:

  1. Building Resilience in Tourism SMEs
  2. Responsible and Diversified Tourism Offers
  3. Managing Tourism Offers and Visitor Flows
  4. Mid- and Top-Level Management Training in Resilience & Sustainability
  5. Awareness Campaigns for Heritage and Climate
  6. Creating Accessible Tourism Services

The dynamic community of trainers is central to helping small and medium-sized tourism enterprises thrive in an ever-evolving industry. The energetic kick-off marks the beginning of an inspiring journey toward a more sustainable, digital, and resilient European tourism sector.
